| NewsEgress Procedure trainer for NASTAR in USA
2007-03-05In February work under contract for delivery of an Egress Procedure Trainer for the National Aerospace Training & Research (NASTAR) Center in USA was completed. NASTAR, created in January 07 conducts highly specialized training of flying personnel, and also research and development work for military and civilian aviation and for astronautics. In this processes state-of-the-art simulators and training devices are used. The trainer delivered by ETC-PZL not only makes training egress procedures possible, but also allows the trainee to analyze and evaluate an emergency in-flight situation on the basis of instruments’ indications and to learn to make the ejection decision at the most appropriate moment. This trainer has universal character and can be used for training pilots of different types of combat aircraft. Cockpit adaptation for a given type of aircraft is achieved through the change of the simulated on-board instruments and controls, changing of the ejection seat and setting of seat inclination angle. |
