| Flight Navigation Procedure Trainer II for general aviation pilots training
ETC-PZL has developed FNPT II (Flight & Navigational Procedure Trainer)
class, training devise complying with JAR-3A requirements, which is aimed at
training civilian pilots in line with JAR-FCL regulations.
This actual device emulates the cockpit of PZL M-20 "Mewa" aircraft
(licence built version of Piper Seneca II) and is equipped with:
- dual flight-navigational instruments,
- dual flight controls with electrical loading system,
- complete set of radio- navigational and engine instruments,
- out of the window view presentation system covering 45° by 30° field of
view for each pilot,
- real terrain data base together including radio-navigational aids, according
to the current Jeppesen data,
- digital background sound system,
- instructor station allowing monitoring of the exercise and operation of
the device.
The device has been located at the Military Institute for Aviation Medicine
in Warsaw.
