Full Flight Simulator for the PZL-130TC1 "Orlik" turboprop military
training aircraft is used in the training process of
the air cadets of the Polish Air force Academy.
It enables amongst the others:
- Aircraft cockpit familiarisation,
- Flight training,
- Visual flight conditions training and instrument meteorological
conditions flight training,
- Radio-navigational flight training,
- Emergency in-flight procedure training,
- Emergency ejection procedures training.
General description of the simulator
PZL-130TC1 "Orlik" aircraft simulator is of a fixed base type. It
is fitted with a faithful replica of the aircraft’s front
cockpit, hydraulic flight controls loading system and a projection system for
the out-of-the-window view, using three collimating modules. The
software system of this simulator, after recent upgrade, is
based entirely on several PC type computers.
The simulator begun its service life in April 1995 and
is being intensively used, to this day, having undergone the
extensive upgrade in 2003.
