Simulator "Beskid 3" is destined for training PT-91 tank crews in:

• individual crewmembers training (commander, gunner, driver) in operating the tank and its systems,
• teaching the crew to get on well together,
• tactical training in virtual modern battlefield environment.

The simulator is installed in two ISO standard containers. Fully equipped positions of each crewmembers and computers are placed in the first one. Instructor station and the briefing room are placed in the second container.

Simulator "Beskid 3" was designed and manufactured as part of the program carried out by OBRUM Gliwice (hardware) and ETC-PZL Aerospace Industries (software and part of hardware). Since 1999 the Polish Land Forces have used it extensively. In 2004 the simulator was upgraded. Among others, the computer system and software were changed the visualization system modernized.
