Project carried out for the German police.

N

Product customized to meet customer’s local requirements.

N

Proprietary solutions that take into account technological requirements and cost-effectiveness.

An emergency vehicle driver training simulator was developed in 2020 for the Bavarian State Police.

In response to the Bavarian State Police request that described the user’s needs in a precise and detailed manner, ETC-PZL Aerospace Industries presented a proprietary simulator design. An advanced training system was developed, while cost-effectiveness was optimized.

The project implementation period concurred with the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite epidemic-related challenges, it took ETC-PZL Aerospace Industries only a few months to design and manufacture a simulator which was then installed at the customer’s location.

The project met all the requirements regarding the use of innovative solutions and cost-effectiveness. Further units of the simulator will be supplied to other training centers in Germany.

After the road traffic characteristics in the customer’s country have been taken into account, including road signs, traffic code, traffic culture (controlled by artificial intelligence), the simulator can be successfully used as an effective tool for emergency vehicle driver training for any type of service in any country.

PZL-130 TC-II Orlik aircraft flight simulator

N

Based on proprietary technological solutions.

N

Unique on a global scale.

N

Project implemented in close cooperation with the global leader in aircraft manufacturing.

The PZL-130 TC-II Orlik aircraft simulator has been developed for Airbus Poland S.A and the Polish Air Force.

The simulator is used by the 4th wing of the School of Aviation in Dęblin. It was put into service in 2020, concurrent with the introduction of the PZL-130 TC-II Orlik aircraft manufactured by Airbus Poland S.A.

ETC-PZL Aerospace Industries had already created PZL-130 Orlik flight simulators that had been used for many years in a complex process of officer cadet aviation training. However, designing the PZL-130 TC-II Orlik aircraft simulator presented a completely new challenge, not least because the Polish Air Force presented unique and very stringent requirements derived from the scope of the planned training.

The project required developing proprietary solutions and close cooperation with the aircraft manufacturer regarding flight test data acquisition and ongoing modifications necessitated by the aircraft’s development during the process of its introduction to service.

As a result, ETC-PZL Aerospace Industries have developed a state-of-the-art simulator with unique configuration and training capabilities. This is attested by:

N

An additional instructor station that enables formation flight simulation, including tight formation flight training.

N

The capability of training how to handle flight at near-critical angles of attack as well as situations when these have been exceeded.

N

The visualization system with a resolution of 2 seconds of arc and a terrain database that faithfully reproduces the surroundings of all Polish military bases and civilian airports, significantly improving flight realism.

Simulator for police commander training

N

Innovative solution on a global scale.

N

Turning the customer’s vision and challenges into a product that meets real-life needs.

N

Creating variants of the product depending on needs.

The simulator for police commander training was developed for the needs of Polish Police in cooperation with The Police Academy in Szczytno to prepare police officers to carry out order restoration and maintenance operations during the 2012 UEFA European Football Championship.

For the first time in its history, the Polish Police faced the challenge of ensuring security during a large-scale, mass international sporting event. A non-standard event that required the development of unique coaching and training tools.

Based on an understanding the customer’s needs, we developed a training simulator that was even more universal than initially expected. A unique system was created which, through coaching and training, makes it possible to prepare law enforcement services for various kinds of mass events of up to 50,000 participants.

The simulator has successfully been used during coaching and training courses conducted by the Police Academy in Szczytno aimed at preparing commanders, police officers and members of other services and administration for proper provision of security for mass events (e.g. demonstrations and other types of events), as well as handling riots (e.g. perimeter protection, order restoration).

The simulator was very highly rated by the customer and training participants, which led to the implementation of further projects in cooperation with the Police. ETC-PZL Aerospace Industries also designed a simplified version of that simulator, used for coaching and training internal security specialists at the Department Of Internal Security at Warsaw University.

While designing our solutions we pay particular attention to total cost of ownership (TCO). As part of our cooperation with customers we also offer repair and maintenance services.
